I am an associate professor at Brigham Young University in the Department of Plant and Wildlife Sciences. My research interests are in plant and fungal genomics, specifically as they relate to population-level genetic diversity and the understanding of genes involved in adaptation to changing environments. I have a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Penn State and I did postdoc research on plant molecular genetics at the University of Arizona.
