View source for Tripal Tutorial (v0.3.1b VM)

This tutorial is intended to be used with the Virtual Machine Image that comes pre-installed with Drupal, Chado and Tripal, as well as several dependencies and Drupal modules.

You can download the Tripal virtual image from the Tripal website (http://tripal.sourceforge.net/?q=download).  To use this virtual machine, you need to download and install the Oracle VirtualBox software at http://www.virtualbox.org/.   Follow these instructions for installing the Tripal v0.3.1b virtual machine:

* Download and then decompress the Tripal virtual machine in a location you will remember later.
* Download and install the Oracle VirtualBox software.
* After installing VirtualBox, open the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager program.
* Click '''Machine''' &rarr; '''Add'''
* A file dialogue box will appear.  Use this to locate and select the Tripal virtual machine
* A new virtual machine will be added titled 'Tripal-0.6x-0.3.1b-VM'.  Click this virtual machine, and then click the '''Start''' arrow at the top of the VirtualBox Manager.
* Log in using the credentials specified below.

When using the virtual machine, the usernames and passwords are as follows:

;Ubuntu Login
* Username:  tripal
* Password:  tripaldemo

;Drupal Administration
* Username:  administrator
* Password:  tripaldemo

;PostgreSQL Login
* Uername:   tripal
* Password:  tripaldemo
* Database:  tripal_demo

This tutorial is the same as that for the full tutorial for Tripal v0.3.1b but we can skip large sections as the VM has already been prepared. For this tutorial, follow these steps:
